Boa Conda
Fit on the fly
The patented K2 CONDA System allows you to tighten, loosen or adjust your liner on-the-fly – from outside of the boot! The first time you try this, you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it.
How it works: A Boa® is attached to the CONDA minimized harness is securely built into the shell of the boot and tightens around the liner to lock your foot in position. Focus is on the superior ankle support and heel hold. The harness lace is threaded through a floating tongue lace guide, allowing riders to customize fit for maximum comfort.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
This is a great boot. I originally had a DC Scout Boa boot but sadly i grew out of it. I loved the Boa system so the guy at the shop recommended this. I use this for all mountain riding but lately I've been in the park a lot and it is great for that. The only problem I have with this is that the blue on the laces bled onto the yellow and it stained it. It doesn't really matter but yea.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
I work in a ski and snowboard shop and see a lot of product go through the store. To date, I have heard many good things and not one complaint about the Darko boot.
I decided to buy this boot because so many people had so much good to say about it. I was not disappointed. After spending only one season snowboarding and the past five years skiing, I wasn't sure what to expect.
The Darko is comfortable, fits true to size and the boa on the inside is able to keep my heel secure in the boot. Don't worry if your big toe makes contact with the front of the lining. Heating the lining will make sure your foot stays secure without letting cold air in.
It is said that if something is done right, you won't notice it at all. I was able to pick up where I left off and work on my form without ever having to worry about my feet in the boot.
This is a quality product, worth more than what you end up paying for.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
These boots felt great right out of the box! I always do plenty of research before I buy a product and all the reviews and testimonies were great. The best part of these boots is the inner boa®. It locks your heel into the back of the boot eleminating slippage while distributing pressure evenly. I wasn't able to heat mold the liner but I am sure when I do, it will feel even better!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
Got the Darkos this season as a replacement to my Burton Hails and I'd say they are a very similar boot in terms of feel and width. Articulating cuff makes for good flex but where these (and K2's in general) stand out is the BOA system. It rocks. Totally locks your heel in when you want to. I'll write another review at the end of the season when I know how it ends up though as a few peeps I know have blown their BOAs apart.
I'm wearing a 9.5 which is pretty true to size and not too bulky. As I say, they have a Burton kinda fit - not too wide. I have medium/narrow foot and they're perfect-ah!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
As soon as I picked this boot up off the shelf I knew I was going to get a pair. The first day I fell in love with the Danky Harsh Mellow Kush, Great all day boot thats 4 sure. Ya cant beat the boa inner lacing, and its adjustability on the fly. Definitely not lacking on style points looks like your favorite pair of skate shoes. Also this boot is pretty dang light, its not to stiff not to flexible, right in the middle is where the DARKO stomping grounds are. Perfect boot to get you through any situation you may bring to its attention. Best boot for the money! Thanks K2, keep pumping out sick gear!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
1.step into the boots tighten the liner boa first than start lacing.
2.lace the boots just like on any snowboard boots or hiking boots.
3. ur good to go
i love the conda BOA feature. u can lose the liner after the run while on the lift chair and tight them back when you get to the top so your feet won't get sore. the laces are not as durable but you can always get new laces and replace them.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
As someone with a size 13 foot, I've had trouble finding a GOOD boot that has drive for bigger boards but still allows me some flexibility. I like the boa concept but had only used lacers in the past.
The boa at the ankle offers great variability in perceived flex, and the moldable liner created the best fit I've known in a boot.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Darko:
These are probably the best boots I have ever owned!! They are super warm and once I custom molded the intuition liners they were amazing. My favorite part is the BOA Conda, I have a super low instep and usually have a really hard time finding a boot that keep my ankle nice and snug. But with the Boa Conda I finally have a boot that fits!! Hands down these boots Kick A$$$$!!!!!
